Lab 9: Data Visualization

Goals

In this lab, students will learn to:

• Critique figures to identify opportunities for making them easier to interpret

• Adjust figure details such as figure size, fonts, point sizes/shapes, line weights/styles, color palettes, alpha levels.

Students will strengthen their understanding of:

• Effectively visualizing data in scatter plots, histograms and contour plots
